Paul Mitchell Holiday Sets are Here!!!

So this year Paul Mitchell has 8 Holiday Sets... They are absolutely great and for the price you really cant beat it! A few sets have 3 items and a few have 2 items. The sets include shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. I believe the prices range between $25-$30... You receive full size products for discounted prices. Like I said a good deal! lol I am just not sure how long they will have these deals so if you miss it before Christmas shop around at your local salon or Paul Mitchell school or even check out the website Paul Mitchell.com to find a location near you.

Sorry it's been so long I apologize!

Ok soooooooooo it's been forever since I have been on here. I am currently back in school and am still working so my time is very limited. Ok so what I have decided and I figure I would make one of my New Years Resolutions is to post 2-3 times a week. I guess I had to give myself some form of number to play around with! lol

Makeup For Ever - HD Concealer

ABSLUTELY love the new HD concealer from Makeup For Ever.  I have been hearing about this product for awhile now and was waiting for it to come to my local Sephora. It took a few months, but it finally arrived!!! I purchased one at Sephora for $28.00. The only thing I don't like is that its only .5 ounces for the price! This product can be used on under eye circles or anywhere you may have blemishes on the face you would like to conceal. It gives you medium to full coverage depending on how dark your under eye circles may be.  To use the product you twist the bottom casing and concealer comes out the top through a tiny hole. This is definitely a less is more product! The company instructs the buyer to use the tip as your applicator, but I prefer to use my Clinique concealer brush to apply it. I feel like the applicator on the tube places to much in one location and doesn't allow me to get close to my lash line like I would want to.

 - I use shade 335 - I am of medium skin tone with a golden undertone

-  I recommend that you use this product for under eye circles and if you have another concealer that will work for face blemishes then go ahead and use it. For the price I am trying to make the product last as long as possible. I found in the past whatever concealer I would use for my face wasn't doing the job for my dark circles.

Clinique - T Zone shine control

I have to say Clinique T Zone shine control is a must have in my makeup routine. It cost $14.50 and you can purchase at your local Clinique counter. It reduces shine, absorbs oil and dries into a clear matte finish. You can use it over or under makeup, but I have found more success with it under my makeup. If I apply it over my makeup then I have to retouch my makeup and that's one extra step I am trying to avoid! I apply it to my forehead, nose, and cheek area because this is where I tend to get oily. I suggest to take a look at where you get oily or shiny and apply it there. Also a little goes a long way, in other words less is more!

Solar Refill day !!!

At my job we are not allowed to have anything but a natural looking nail or maybe a light pink shade. SOooo boring I know especially for someone who likes color like me. Well I was complaining to the lady who always does my nails as usual and of course she is agreeing with me. She stops what she is doing and shows me this new cool acrylic they have in it’s a silver color. To me it looks like a silver disco ball!

If you don't know Solar Nails are:
similar to regular acrylic nails but instead they actually use two different powders there is a light or dark pink shade for the upper half and a white powder for the nail tip area. I like Solar Nails because they last longer than regular acrylic nails but they do cost more also, but i definitely say if you can afford it then definitely  try them out!

HiP, jane., MAYBELLINE

While in line at my local Walgreens for a prescription I decided to step out of line and go take a look at their cosmetics area. SUCH A DANGEROUS LOCATION FOR ME!!! I ran across their sale area and look at what I found. Now mind you this is my first time ever looking in a sale area for cosmetics because I was always under the impression it was old makeup they were trying to get out of the store FAST.

I have some what been a fan of the HiP duos already owning riotous 328 & showy 224 from the Bright Eyeshadow Duo collection.

~l-r~ mischief 908, playful 838 - Concentrated shadow collection, electrified 510, shocked 310 -Metallic shadow collection

OK so these are the four I lucked up on and personally I think I purchased them all. The next day I went to another
Walgreens  location near my house to see if they maybe had a few different duo shades on sell and well they didn't have any at all on sale not even the colors I had bought the day before.

While at Walgreens I lucked up on three jane. be pure Mineral Blushes. This is my first time purchasing jane. cosmetics.

The last thing I am trying for the first time is a MAYBELLINE Line Stylist lipliner in shade NUDE 610

p.s. I will be posting swatches soon!
