When choosing a Makeup Artist ... Bridal Beauty!

When choosing a Makeup Artist for your Wedding her are a few questions you may want to ask ...

What products do you use?
- This can be a very important questions to ask especially if you or anyone in your Bridal Party is allergic to specifics that may be found in certain makeup products.

Can I have a Makeup Trial and is it Included in the Price?
- Most Bridal cost do include a trial run ... but normally this is just for the Bride. If someone in your Bridal Party would like this service also mention it to your Makeup Artist.

Will  you be able do my Bridal Party at the same time?
- Depending on the size and time limit of the Bridal Party will determine if the artist may have to bring another Makeup Artist with her.

Do you provide powder, lipstick and blush so I can retouch during the night?
- This is a good question to ask, but for a fee you may be able to have your makeup artist at whatever location you like for touch ups.

How long will it take?
- Normally a makeup application can take at the least 30 min but the time depends on the artist.
- If time is an issue make sure to inform your Makeup Artist when the contract is being signed.

Should I be getting dressed before or after the makeup session?
- I think it is best to get your makeup done before you put on your dress you don't want to chance anything getting on your gorgeous dress!

Do you charge traveling costs?
- Some Artist to charge for traveling cost over a certain millage.

What products should I use to remove the makeup at the end of the day?
- Majority of the time you can use a regular makeup remover, but if your makeup artist is using a special makeup then it may require a special remover.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure my booking?
- Majority of the time you would need to pay a deposit to secure your date and if not the Makeup Artist may book someone on the same date who is ready to pay their deposit.

What will it cost?
- Well this is a no brainier unless the person is your Best Friend you will more than likely have to pay for your Makeup Artist services.

- All I am saying is .... If you aren't going low budget on your dress don't go low budget on your makeup! Even then sometimes you can get away with a non expensive dress and pay the money to be Glammed by the Face and it can make your whole look even more Glamorous!

I did one of my Best Friends makeup for her wedding this past year ... She looked BEAUTIFUL!

disclamer: Some of this was taken from a magazine I was reading ... I am not sure of the name though. I forgot to write it down....
